Associations

An Association of Naturopathic Physicians (ANP) is a professional association for naturopathic physicians (naturopaths) in a given state in or territory of the USA or in a specific area of naturopathic medicine (naturopathy).

The American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP) is the national association for naturopathic physicians (naturopaths) in the USA.

 

State & Territory Associations of Naturopathic Physicians

State and Territory Associations of Naturopathic Physicians (State & Territory ANPs) are the professional associations for naturopathic physicians (naturopaths) in the USA and its territories.  In some states, an ANP is found under a different name.  Currently,

  • 32 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico have associations of “naturopathic physicians”
  • 1 state, Arizona, has a naturopathic “medical association”
  • 10 states have associations of “naturopathic doctors”
  • 7 states and the US Virgin Islands do not yet have associations of naturopathic physicians

 

Specialty Associations of Naturopathic Physicians

Specialty Associations of Naturopathic Physicians (Specialty ANPs) are the professional associations for naturopathic physicians (naturopaths) within specific areas of naturopathic medicine.
